Salt Potatoes

These potatoes are straightforward, creamy and delicious.  With unassuming ingredients, the cooking method results in a perfect combination of buttery goodness and the perfect amount of salt in each bite.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs white creamer potatoes
  • 1.5 lbs purple creamer potatoes
  • 3/4 cup table salt
  • 1/3 cup butter

Instructions

  1. Put a large pan on to boil with 2 quarts of water and all the salt.  Trust me, it's not too much salt.  They come out perfect.

  2. When water is boiling, gently add potatoes to avoid splashing yourself.
