These Blueberry Clusters are a fantastic late night dessert when you’re craving something rich and satisfying and don’t want to mess with baking. If you enjoy chocolate covered strawberries, you will love these blueberry treats.
These little Blueberry Clusters come together in minutes. They are special enough to gift to friends, but tempting enough to hide them away all for yourself. I won’t admit how many times I’ve made these with the intension of sharing only to hide them at the back of the fridge to snack on over a few days. If you are not a fan of nuts, leave them off. I’ve made these without a topping, and I’ve topped these with whatever is on hand. If you like coconut, raw coconut flakes are a subtle addition. But the combination of thick and creamy macadamia nuts is my favorite combination.
A quick note on melting chocolate. I ruined multiple batches of chocolate while baking before I learned the most important trick. Patience. Small increments of heat times, and stirring to allow the heat of the already melted chips to help the others join in the party, make all the difference. If your microwave has a chocolate melting setting it’s worth using it. Unfortunately, mine does not. So, patience.
Blueberry Clusters with Macadamia Nuts
This simple three ingredient treat is a late night favorite in my house. These chocolate clusters are versatile, and can be topped with any assortment of nuts, or coconut flakes. Take liberties to make this treat something that suits your tastes. I use Ghirardelli chocolate chips because they melt and reconstitute perfectly every time.
